I talked about affiliate marketing in my last post so now I’ll give you a different kind of post between my regular schedule.

Affiliate marketing is a hot trend among web fans and fanatics. This is one of the few ways, outside of actually selling products, that webmasters make money from their web sites. Affiliate marketing is considered by many to be one of the best ways to earn money online. It can be a really fun and exciting home business that you can run from your personal computer, or notebook.

Affilorama offers lessons, a forum, a blog, and tools for the education-oriented affiliate. For a total newbie, this site is a jackpot, and even for an experienced online marketer, this site is thorough enough to be of value. Affilorama was founded in 2006 by well known super affiliate Mark Ling, and features hands on lessons, interviews with gurus of the internet marketing industry, plenty of useful affiliate tools and a lively forum. Affilorama switched from a monthly subscription format to being free in October 2008.

Start off learning the basics, and build from there. A good program should provide an action plan that walks you through: choosing an affiliate program, doing your research, choosing a marketing method and then setting up your campaign.
